This one simple cue can change the way you feel every single pull down.
.
All you have to do is learn how to lock down your mid-back. This is achieved by depressing and retracting the shoulder blades. This will make your late work harder to complete the pull down. Traditionally, you would begin the pull by a combination of motions coming from the lats, traps, read delt, and rhomboids.
.
By mastering this one cue, you place greater demand on the lats to complete this exercise while the other muscles are busier keeping the shoulder blades in position.
