Training in gym with masks on.

Anyone having a hard time training with a mask on? Its fucking retarded and our gyms just opened up and theirs talk of shutting down again.

I just wear a cloth i tie as my mask. But it still sucks
 
It sucks big time. They are now state mandated here. I wear it in, they take temps, and then I wear it around my neck most of the time in the gym.

It’s dumb as fuck! But most people take theirs off like every other set. I don’t think anyone cares or they wouldn’t be going to the gym in the first place. Covid is some drastically overhyped BS. More people will be dying from the flu this year than covid has killed in 6 months. Dumb dumb dumb

And yet, planet fitness doesn’t make you wear a mask accept when you first walk in. You’re allowed to take it off at your station lol

Its a shame most of us arent allowed to train there lol
 
I go to two different commercial gyms. They ask to wear a mask in and out of the gym but if your training within a 6 foot distance you can lower the mask.
 
Don’t workout with mask on. Sucking in carbon dioxide too fast and oxygen supply going down. If you have headaches or feel a bit lethargic, most likely decreased oxygen, elevated carbon dioxide.

cant argue with that, i have to take mine down every 5 minutes regardless where im at. I just cant breath properly in the thing!
 
There is a mask mandate where I live, but it allows for the removing of masks when you're exercising in the gym. We wear masks in, but it's then your choice to wear while training. Personally, I feel like I can't breathe in enough oxygen when I'm training intensely to wear the mask while training so I take it off.
 
Gyms were exempted in my state and now the mask mandates have expired anyway, so I never had to worry about it.
 
This mask shit if for the birds. IF this virus was as contagious as they said in the beginning, we would all have had it by now.

I beg to differ.. I lost my buddy/co-working and my uncle in August. 30% of our office caught this shit. Then again I'm in Texas.

Golds was relaxed with the mandate until members starting to get sick. Now pretty everyone wears one. This crap needs to end already
