Calves over the 18 in mark..

Well glad to say that after hitting them twice per week I have gotten them back up over 18 inches. Before stopping my gear because of some legal trouble they were over 19 inches. Calves are just like any other body part. Train them with the same intensity that you train other muscle parts. I do anywhere from 12-15 sets per workout. My rep range is 8-15 with stretching between sets. tentitan

Nice calves, as far as the dog...very nice...LOL, watch that couch though, he might rip it up!

I do calves monday's and thursday's. I do three exercises 4-5 sets each and reps are from 15 down to 8. Full range of motion at all times with light stretching between sets.

Nice work-Now you made me go measure mine- 15.5 is all. BTW the 2nd pic makes em look like those turkey legs you eat at the fair.

Hehe, thanks. I think two issues always came up with calf training:

One - most people do not really train them as hard as they train other muscles. i.e., they do too few sets, they do not do a full range of motion, they either go too heavy or way to light.

Two - people who think they can not build them don't even try. sure genetics has something to do with it. but fuck genetics that is only when it comes to building 20 or 21 inche calves not 18 or so. be real and train those fuckers hard and fair!

Peace, tentitan

looks good, bro. my calves are 18" but they don't look like that!
What are your stats in terms of height, weight, BF?

P.s. - very cool dog! ya know you never ever see those in Japan?? Shiba all over, and sometimes a kiyushu, but never the akita. *shrug* Mostly everyone has dachshunds or chihuahuas here anyway.

My stats are:
Weight:242 and growing
Height: 6' and a little more
Age: 33
Bodyfat: 12% and holding

Get this I only paid $300 for him. They normally go for $1,000 or more. He is great but dam he is getting big fast. His dad is over 130 lbs.
