BEFORE PICS - Just Starting Out Again

Allright folks,

I figured that before I really get started on my road back to good shape that I would take some pics.

I am looking for all sorts of comments and suggestions.
Don't worry about hurting my feelings...

Obviosuly I need to get rid of this damn babyfat I have always had. Once I was about 25lbs lighter than this and was the best I ever looked.

History/Info

Right now...
6'1, 250lbs, 29 years of age

Always been on & off with the working out / cardio
4 years of computer desk work has really messed me up and I need to get back into a more active lifestyle... I also partied like a rock star for about 4 years. Since I run my own business and can do what I want most of time.. lots of boos for sure.. way too much

Anyway... last week or so I have eaten healthy, drank tons of water, and got back into working out... that trend is going to continue and the bar scene is going to stop completely

I think I have a good base to work with and I have always been relatively strong. I have naturally big legs as well.

Here are the pics...

You can tell there's some muscle there, especially the legs! But yeah, you'll look and feel alot better if you can get rid of some of that fat! And it certainly can be done, go take a look at my body for life pics in the natural transformations forum!

Good to see your detication this is a real good start for you. Cardio and diet is the key. AL is the man to talk to.

hey bro just thought I would add my .02 you look thick and prolly very strong thats a good thing!
bad thing is bf% you are a little high but if you get your diet and cardio dowm to a T and your workouts become more regular you will see the results you are looking for ! keeptaking pics and let us know how you are doing !

best of luck !

Good luck your headed it the right direction hope you get where you want.I was at the other end started out at 130lbs 6ft.

thx everybody

I'm pumped up about this whole thing...
If all goes well.. 3-4 weeks of natural / get back into it sorta work

then I start an 8 week cycle that someone who knows their cycles is designing for me

So Iam looking at months of consistant/serious work
but it will be worth it

I need this change...

there's a lot of muscle hiding under there. In a few months you hard work you should have a nice build.

Bro IMO you need a minimum of a year natty before you should hit the sauce-It will take that long just to figure out how to eat proper and lift right. Don't stunt yourself by trying to do things before there time. Juice is an aid not a cure.

Do 12 weeks of BFL then think about a cycle. i dont recommend goin from out of shape to 4 weeks of lifting then right on a cycle. Your kinda asking for trouble. Your ligiments wont be used to the lifting.

Go buy body for life book and give that a shot. Amazon.com has them for like 13 bux

Well, regardless...I think I have a good game plan and I am no workout virgin despite how I may have made it sound. The juice is paid for and sitting here whether I do it or not. And it's a proven cycle / fairly safe that a board member helped me with.
A middle of the road starter cycle so to speak.

Anyway.. This may sound goofy but the juice has been like my main motivation to really get in good shape again. Almost like one piece of the puzzle that makes this all this seem so more serious.

If it wasn't for that getting me excited/motivated I probably would still be sitting in the chair all day working on the computer and not moving much. Probably going to the bar every night and getting trashed and eating total crap food as well.

Right now I am eating lots of healthy food and loving it. Drinking tons of water and taking decent vitamins/ supplements. I can feel the difference everywhere even in my face.

As for damaging ligiments, I don't think that is anything I will have a problem with as I don't take my workouts to the limit right now. The 1st 3 weeks is strickly bowflex / home weights / pushups.. pull ups etc etc. Like I said above I don't want to agrevate my injury until I am stronger and feel confident that will not be a problem. I'll hit the real gym when I feel ready to deal with it. At the apartment I have a lot of workout toys such as speed bags, gravity boots, weights, bowflex, couple cardio things.. so I am pretty entertained for the monent.

I have made some amazing progress even since those pics from a week ago. It's a day by day thing and my only goal is to be in better shape each week. That's it. I will keep you guys updated with pics.

I have read a lot of of the posts in this forum over the past week. Tons of great information is here.

Only time will tell... maybe my game plan is flawed, but I pretty much decided I am doing the juice sooner or later. Probably when I hit the real gym. Perhaps not in 3 weeks but sometime down the road.

Right now.. I am doing almost 2 hours of something 5 days a week. Whether it be floor work / bow flex / cardio / free weights... I mix it up as I am sort coming up with my own daily routines. I also get plenty of rest and give things time to heal.

And since I work at home it's pretty easy to eat right / many times a day...

we'll see

you guys are a great inspriation as well as the comments just make me want to keep this up...

I am glad I am taking pics too as it will be cool to see the changes.

If guys like WeirldAl can do what he did... Man.. !!
Anything is possible.

First off, welcome to the board - you'll do great as you have a solid base to build from

That said, Al did not use AAS to get into the shape he did during body for life

AND, if you've not been working out for at least several years, I wouldn't start taking steroids as your body will not be as likely to handle the stress of so much added muscle. The strain on your joints and such will be tremendous if they're not already "used to" being worked

Also, there is no magic cycle that will allow you to shed bodyfat as you'd like to do....DIET will cut you up more quickly than any ECA or steroid stack.

Stick around, glean all you can from our members and make sure that taking AAS is the right thing for you......

On the money....

Welcome to the board also

dude, congrats on your decision to start working out again. but in my opinion, it would be ridiculous to start juicing right now. that's no flame, just my two cents. but after a few weeks of working out wih a bowflex, doing steroids is plain ridiculous - even if you used to train a few years ago. i myself made the decisin not to take roids for myself, but that's not my motivation to agree with the other members telling you to keep training natural for now. although many people tend to forget it, steroids should be used to break plateaus and by people who are very near their genetic limits, not somebody who uses them as "motivation" to work out again.

again, no flame intended, just honest.
