My toys...
2003 Fat Boy and a 2003 V Rod. What can I say? The 100th anniversary got me. LOL! I got some customizing to do to the Fattie....any suggestions? I've already put on some ground pounder pipes, that's it though. My spring ideas were to get a chrome swing arm ($500), chrome the front fork and drop the reflectors, get some flame hand grips, foot pads/pedals, braided cords, and I would love to find one of those license plate holders that hangs from the swing arm. Kid Rok...help me out with the ideas bro!

i know a women that her son makes west coast choppers and 500 $ for the swing arm is cheep..the values of a part like that on a custom bike is priceless when it comes from the west coast choppers were saying mooocho ..... you got your self a good deal buddy you should think you struck gold... man nothing like a harley with good plumbing . When ya wind that baby up and vibrate the muffler rattlessss.... its like a pig with lipstick between your legs whos got it better than you.. almost like wanting to be interested in your sisters sex life. hey look you like bikes so must do drugs. or you know about motorcycles so you must drink... am i rational yet... They say bikers are smutty.... they just get stereo typed.. society ...giving bikers classification or is it just an opinion. O they rotate the tires for ya too. Nothing like the vibration on that pig... must get me a toy like that....Driving different vehicle doesnt change the person that you are.

Nothing like a nice set of drag bars to give a fatboy the ultimate mean look, I had put 3 other sets of bars on mine before going with the drags and I love them!
For the license plate a nice laydown style holder flows well with the fender. Also Kuryakin makes hand levers with braided fringe that look cool. Especially when set-off by a nice set of custom mirrors.

KidRok your fat boy is dope. I like that license plate holder. I might just do that. And the drag bars are nice. The braided levers add a nice custom touch too. What kind of pipes are you using? I'm taking notes on your posts bro... I'll probably hit you up for more advice later.
I charged the battery on the V Rod last night, had to take the entire air box and air filter off just to get to it. You know the gas tank is under the seat so what looks like a gas tank is really just an air box. I actually got everything put back together after reading the manual 10 times and took it for a ride today. I had her purrin! And KRL---the V Rod is different, yes. But the thing goes FAST, I can hit 140!!!....but it still looks like a chopped out drag bike. You gotta love it. I do cause I'll be payin it off for another 7 years!
As for the crotch rockets...I keep up with them on the V Rod. I'm still a fan though. Hayabusas, Ducatis and Aprilias are my favorites actually, along with the R1s and GSXR1000s. Most of my boys ride rice burners.
Hey, this is turning out to be a cool thread...anyone else got pics of their bike?

I run Vance & Hines Straight shots for pipes as I've found them to be the best for 2 into 2 pipe for HP. They sound great too. I can toss lots more ideas at ya or if you wanna run anything by me let me know.

gypsymoth, did you forget your riddlin? J'K bro
KidRok, all right, I went out for a ride today and just happened to make my way into the Harley shop to "look". $3 Gs later, and an appointment to get my shit customized, I walked out with a grin from ear to ear.
I got all chrome hand controls (even the encasings and buttons!) w/ rubber/chrome striped hand grips, bullet style mirrors, stainless steel braided cables, smoked out lenses for the blinkers, rubber/chrome striped foot pedals/floorboards, the chrome swingarm w/ a chrome covering for the bolts, and that sweet ass laid back license plate holder!!! Oh, and I got a new low profile seat. Here's a pic of a fat boy with a lot of the same stuff...
