Precontest 21 weeks out/Precontest 8-9 weeks

Really looking forward to seeing your progress MMX, what type of diet are you going for high protein/high fat/low carbs or something more innovative?

basically, there is a high day, a medium day, and a low day.
It will be very interesting, something different but up for the challenge.

A lot of competitors seem to be cycling carb intake now, Jay Cutler says he swears by it in his new.improved and beyond DVD. If you can hold onto all that mass when cutting up you will be absolutely huge on stage

Lookin really thick bro, keep it goin,i like the back thickness and spread. Chest is lookin good very wide as well..Can wait to see you ripped..Post some progress pic as you go... :thumbups:

That is my biggest deal- I gain a lot of mass during the offseason, but I just can't keep it all and it just looks weak on a big frame.

You're not alone on that one bro, easy to gain "mass" for a lot of bro's (including myself) as well but it tends to skew to be a higher percentage of fat. Sounds like you've got a plan so stick to it and good luck bro

Your a big guy. It looks like when you lose weight it is really body fat, anytime you lose fat your always gonna appear smaller, bulking up can be fun but when you over due it, it be hell getting ready for a show- because its gonna be harder for you to get ripped. Have fun gettin ripped for your show-and givem hell.

I know how you feel I was 240 lbs before starting my last diet with bodyfat of 10% maybe even less still had vascularity on most of my body but I dieted too much and ended up at 200lbs when I should have been at least 210, I think I need to get some proper help with my next diet

trop is the man
i teamed up with him a little while ago
hes getting me ready for junior nationals

I am very impressed with him so far. LIke I said, I was very pleased with the offseason gains I made. I was really crossing my fingers he had a slot open for contest prep since I know his slate is pretty much filled all the time. Good luck in your prep for the Jr. Nats.
