I still need to learn how to pose properly, input would be great, especially from guys like MMX2 and supermannpc, who i give much congrats to for his recent sucesses!

Im not much of a poser either.... but I have to tell you, it helps if you can stand a mirror up in front of the camera facing you... That way you see what the camera sees...

your lookin good bro ah just a word of advise my friend make sure when you are hitting your pose that there is noair in your lungs. sounds simple yeah i thought so to man when i was gettin ready for mr. arizona. honestly bro its fuckin hard and you feel like your body is gonna cramp to death. just exhale every thing from your lungs and while the air is escaping hit your pose the end result is what i believe you are looking for. actually try initially to hold your poses for 20 seconds or so increasing them as you get better up to 1 minute. sounds easy right. well dont start counting untill allthe air has left your lungs and dont breath in until you have met your 20 sec.goal. tell me what you think when your mescles start shaking and you can no longer remain composed. them you will why it is no easy task to be a great poser. look at it this way if your looking at a dude flexed up lookin great and you look at his face and he looks like it aint shit youre impressed right? actually you might not be but try to hold a pose with no air and look in the mirror during this and determine if you look like you aint doin shit. most likely this isnt gonna happen and you will have a whole new respect for it all. just my opinion
 
in your posing; your not opening yourself up
your making yourself look smaller
look at my contest pics and try hitting your poses like me
i seen alot of guys do bad in shows because they dont know how to pose

I tried this today and boy does it make a differencem my muscles actually pertruded out further and seemed fuller. It was very hard to hol my breath in those poses though for 20 second man, i only got to 10, so i gotte keep workin on it, thanks fo the info bro

Sometimes on stage they make you hold the pose for almost a minute if its a big group. Some guys end up shaking all over the place and some pass out.
Happened to a guy that was next to me. I thought he was going to fall on me, but he ended up falling forward. Remember there is no water or salt intake and most are taking diuretics which may all lead to severe cramping in some. You really need to open up your body- you are hiding a lot. I would raise my arms up to at least parallel or a little higher on the front and nack double bicep. We are missing the muscle completely. If you are interested there are videos like Perfect Posing from Gary Udit which walks through all the mandatories and positioning. If not its cool, there are a lot of us that can offer you some good advice. One more thing- always be aware of hand placement......
 
and lastbutnot leastrememberto try smiling, make it look easy, so the guys next to you look like their taking a shit, anything to keep the judges eyes on you longer
