Its crazy to look back at pics and realize how you compare to others and how far you have come.
I will post some of me later with out all the gear. Just thought this would give a better view of who is posting all that crap lolPushtoday, Mountain_Man thanked for this post

Not when you are overseas and can get shit you cant get stateside. I did halo overseas everyday when I trained. I ate like a damn horse 5 times a day and those MRE's are 3200 calories each..eat 5 of those a day.Mountain_Man, BEASTZ6 liked this post

I had to stop and take a good look at the pic. Tried to date or by the molle gear but it is t clear enough to discern the different versions I personally saw.....then it hit me....his flag is color. Has to be "early" sand box / acu era. So what 2006-2008 ?
I know my brigades first deployment to Iraq was the end of 2004 and it was just about 18 months coming home 2006. They were trying to get us to switch over totally to ACU once we were back. The new guys just looked dumb next to the BDU and DBUs. The total switch and then them actually holding us to the ACU standard was probably 2007 but it was late because we had just gotten back. I don't remember when the non color flags came out but I know I didnt regularly see them until another unit came back from Afghanistan in maybe 2009ish(?)Presser liked this post
