Well i have been calling for the mens physique to have more muscle and also start wearing short tight spandex shorts. So instead in 2016 They are asking Mens Physique to get even smaller than this years mens physique and instead adding a new class where guys will shoot for that classic bodybuilding look and wear short spandex shorts. SO yeah maybe this class is what I've been looking for, but to say in 2016 your going to start asking your mens physique guys to shrink up, i don't like it!

This is strictly about money, in adding another class! I guess i can't blame them, but do you have any idea how long shows will be now? Ridiculous!

I had a phone conversation with somebody (IFBB pro) last night about this. I just hope this new class is a way to keep the beach body, younger guys, ect from thinking size matters and taking tons of gear and those guys taking tons of gear doing bodybuilding hoping to look like Mr O find a place in this sport.

bro, I can say with near certainty Jim and Sandy were NOT thinking of this when they decided to add this class! Without steroids and various other PEDS the entire industry would be dead! What draws people the masses to the sport as a whole is to see people with bodies that push the limits and bodies that they aspire to have, if you took steroids out of the equation and all PEDS , then everyone would look the same, they need the rule breakers to push the envelope so to speak. So i highly doubt this had any bearing on their decision to add this class!

Truth is they "judges" and powers that be, let the bodybuilding division get out of hand, and its too late to reign it in now , when all along they should have demanded bodybuilders have this european look, or the classic bodybuilding aka classic physique look!

Its about money, and bringing back a pleasing aesthetic bodybuilding look back to the stage, and in my humble opinion in no way has anything to do with helping competitors juice less, which is what i took from your reply, if I'm mistaken i apologize,

all about money-the more classes you have the more people compete the more people compete the more friends and family will show up

the next thing will be everybody gets a trophy
