Future IFBB Bodybuilding Division: "Gene-Doping-Class?"



Wow! Chinese scientists genetically modify human embryos! Is this the beginning of genetic manipulation/dominance in the world? What does all of this mean? The article was published Wednesday in the prestigious journal Nature




The team of scientists have safely repaired a gene mutation that causes a horrible heart defect in human embryos. This new breakthrough will spark a tremendous debate on the frontier of genetic engineering. This new breakthrough was done in a genetically-derived disease called hypertropic cardiomyopathy, which causes sudden death in genetically prone athletes. This new genetic modifying technology can be a major breakthrough in preventing genetically-derived diseases! One fear is that the FDA can regulate this procedure for disease prevention in the US, but we can't regulate it in other parts of the world such as: China, Russia, North Korea, or the Middle East. The fear is: "Designer Babies!" Can you imagine? Designing women with just blue eyes, or blond hair, or gene-manipulating and by further increasing the male population in China which is already male dominated! What about greater intelligence or athleticism? How about building the future genetic freaks of bodybuilding by inhibiting certain genes such as myostatin and other genes that control muscle growth?




Will the IFBB/NPC have a new division in bodybuilding in the future called the "Gene-Doping Class?" Now, of course, this study was done in a petri dish in a test-tube aka "in-vitro" and it was 75% successful. NO way will the FDA allow its use in human embryos until it's perfected 100% in-vitro. But this technology will not be approved for some time. However, nothing is stopping underground labs around the world, outside the US, from creating a whole new race of super-humans.

Them repairing a gene mutation in an embryo might have just happened but the rest of this stuff listed is old news and I have invitro fertilization 4 year old boy / girl twins and they were able to do this stuff years ago, from sex of child we wanted to eye color etcc... We actually chose to have two at once and those other things were all doable then, my guess is they're way past this articles list of things and can do shit we haven't even thought of yet lol

the real worry is rich people and poor people will have an even bigger divide , you think the wealth gap is bad now lol when you can manipulate I.Q. , disease free, aging effects then its game over

Yeah I remember when were having my daughter I wanted to do the whole stem cell thing. It was way too expensive. Big opportunity for those with money.
