IF you happen to actually follow golf, do you think Tiger Woods has any chance of ever winning another major championship? He's looked absolutely terrible in the first 2 outings this year. For a while I thought it was inconceivable for him NOT to break Jack's record, but now I'm thinking he's not going to do it

I don't follow to closely, but I do love to watch and play it. They have the TBC Waste Management open here about 15 minutes from where I live. Today is the last round. I haven't had time to go. Been working, lifting, and now it is time for the Superbowl.

My dad saw Tiger Woods play in person and said that he's much bigger in person than you'd believe from watching him on TV. I'd love to see him play in person one day, I'd definitely be there if I were in your shoes, but life does have a way of getting in the way

I watch the masters and some majors

I dont think tiger will catch jack since losing his wife and caddy he just hasnt been able to lock in. I think he had a chance to win a major last year but got a stupid penalty on a drop

I guess I just don't get it. The guys ride a cart to a ball, hit the ball with a club, get back in the cart and follow the ball. It just doesn't click for me

I love playing golf, I more or less just end up catching a buzz and having a good time with friends. I suck at golf, but it is fun to go out and bullshit

I've been in the golf businress since I was 13(caddying) went to a 2 year golf school wanting to become a teaching pro. I'm good enough at golf but the business sucks. Bunch of whining millionaires and some billionaires thrown in. Maybe I'm better suited for the public sector. I saw tiger play in 99 in the Anderson consulting match play at del mar in CA. It was a week day. There were literally like 10 poeple following him. It was cool. Jeff Maggert put on a short game clinic and beat him. Anyway yeah Tiger is 6 foot 2 and pretty solid. I actually worked were he lives in Windermere in Florida. Met him. Nice dude. All the pros that lived there sent us Christmas cards with a $100 in them. We will see how he does in the majors this year. He should be in his prime right now. But I think he set the trend for younger players coming on tour earlier. By the way if you walk 18 holes you burn roughly 1400 calories. That's if you are decent. Just imagine the hacker shooting 140 hittin out of the woods and 8 foot bunkers at some of these courses. You need to be able to hit some decent shots to enjoy yourself. As they say "You know what golf is? A good walk spoiled"

No offense, but my opinion about golf is not very good. It is another way of proving that we have too much time on our hands. For those who enjoy golf, more power to you...

Its crazy all the different backgrounds the people on here come from. Really awesome. As I get older I'm learning that most of my preconceived notions and assumptions are WAY off base.

Honestly as I get older I'm embarrassed by how judgemental I was. People with Chronic pain, old people, muscular guys who always seemed to be wearing something tight, skinny guys in the gym that were so intense that at any moment you expected an eye to pop out, fat chicks, people in debt, people that go to counseling, it goes on and on.

Im with ya brutha, i use to be shallow i suppose you could say lol. And yes with age comes wisdom no doubt about it! However I will never admit that to wife, cause she still thinks if she gets fat i will leave her for a 20 year old lmao. When in reality now that I'm older and more mature, i know i wouldn't leave her, i would simply have a 20 year old side piece of ass and stay married! lmao

Cabana boys don't count

And I understand the shallow part, I used to be that way too. I still don't like most people, but I can at least respect everyone no matter what. I used to look at certain people and think there was no way I could ever have something in common with them so I never gave them the time of day, but now I will listen to anyone and have actually become friends with people I would've never even associated with when I was younger
