The end of tackle football as we know it!
Excuse me if this is a topic in another thread but isnt it getting ridiculous how wussified football is getting with protecting QB's? I mean you can barely touch him and get penalized. I understand about preventing injuries and all but this is going way too far. Even in NCAA helmet to helmet is called targeting and if you do that, out of the game you will go.
I suspect flag football will soon be a reality someday, good bye NFL

My problem is that you can barely touch a QB and heaven forbid you get with five feet of a kicker, but you can stuff a receiver in a meat grinder, pads and all, and they don't even blow the whistle until a few teammates pile on. All rules should be across the board, regardless of position. Eliminate cheap shots the best you can, but if you can't take a legit hit, you should be playing curling instead of football.
