Karl Malone and John Stockton made a great pair. Like Michael Jordan and Scottie pippen

It seemed to me that Stockton was technically nothing by himself (I'm a Utahn). Everyone always relied on the pairing with Malone. If either one was out a game, then the team didn't play very well. I will give him this: he's extremely determined. Being one of the shorter players he played hard to prove himself the best he could. The only thing that bugged me tho was that I heard he hated Utah and couldn't stand to be there a minute more than was necessary.

I saw a good story about the dream team recently and the funniest part was John Stockton walking the streets with his family and no one recognizing him. He even stopped a lady wearing a Dream Team tee shirt and she didn't know who he was. He said, "I'm on your shirt!"

Ha! Now that's just embarrassing. Most people around here knew he didn't like Utah so when he left, they were happy to see him go.

Just like pippen didn't do well in my opinion when Jordan retired.
