Glass is inert, it will not break down due to contact with solvents. Celulose acetate membranes are not the best to use for gear however. If you're using BA, BB, and oil you should be using PVDF or Nylon. If you are using EO you can still get away with PVDF but if your solution contains guaiacol you need to be using a nylon membrane and the zap cap CR is your best bet as the filter body is resistant to solvents as well. If you use guaiacol in the wrong filter it will melt the plastic filter body and contaminate your gear.
Userat204 - I've been looking at the fast caps recently but am not sure how the setup works. It appears they are just caps that you place over a media bottle to filter. Do you simply run a tube from a beaker with the unfiltered solution to the cap? Any chance you could post a picture of the setup you use with these?
