Anyone have a clue ok wherein can find this and what's anyone's experience been with brewing tne or the like with mct oil? . I found aa powder replacement for guaiacol but can't think of the name of the tp of my head iI will post it here later and maybe the article with it. It's so simple to find on the original bidding sites. I'll post it as soon as I look at the name again.

Miglyol is similar to mct or coconut oil but I guess vastly better. It's nothing new I just can't find it.

Thanks for any help and if not you guys suck lol just kidding. But please someone has to know and again thoughts on dropping guaiacol and using mct for tne or db inject. Is it possible?

Thanks fellas. It's a solvent that was used in some patents years ago but I guess is still commonly sold and used for many things. Mainly I'm looking at a very thin oil that has very good properties at holding harder to make oils. Basically anything I can do to reduce guaiacol usage lol. I can't take the smell. I have found a powder that is said to be able to replace it and found it easily and cheap. I'll have to find where I saved the info and ill post that for you guys and ill try it as well and let you know if it actually works. I'm pretty much just fed up with guaiacol and have a lot of friends who love tne, win oil and db oil base. Honestly I could care less about either of them which makes me hate using it even more.

I figured it was a long shot but might get someone else interested as well and looking. Who knows.

yeah post the info if ya find it, and I've seen winny in oil hold fine with just ba bb and gso, same goes for TNE in oil at 50mg/ml

If its truely commonly sold I'm both surprised no one has heard of it and it should make it pretty easy to find from a chemical supply house. With a quick search I found a supplier through pubchem, not sure if I can post it. Either PM me or look up miglyol 840 on pubchem and scroll to the vendors section. No price given but if you contact them I bet they'll give you all the info you need.

Ok thanks bro the issue I had with it was all the post I had seen on it were that you basically had to buy it by the drum lol a little more than I need. But good looking out I guess it's time to put in some leg work and start calling an asking

Oh and for the item I was speaking of but couldn't remember that I said could possibly replace guaiacol, and I could be wrong but it's easy to find and both are listed from a 1958 patent on some hard to solve chems anyways it is called: PHENYL SALICYLATE

The post/article I read stated that the patent claimed this or guaiacol were used in high mg concentrations, and went on to say that 1 gram guaiacol was soluble in 60 to 70ml water where as the phenyl salicylate was soluble at 1 gram in 6670 mls of water part of what I was reading was cut off so I only got sections but it gave examples of use in high mg prop innate I believe stating that you simply add 2 parts phenyl salicylate to 1 part hormone so I'm guessing 2 grams per 1 gram raw hormone but that sounds like a lot of solvent. There was another sorta recipe of a third compound or solve the as I've only seem them in powder formulations which wouldn't be bad if they actually work and you could just add them to you beaker and heat until all in liquid solution I found it cheap so I will get it and try it sooner or later

Let me look for the other solvent I mentioned as a 3rd part to the above two part mix that was listed as another option

Ok the second formulation, and just to mention they are talking about 350mg/ml test prop but I'm under the impression these were theory not tested

Anyway the art I have was 1 part test prop (as example 20grams) to 1 part phenly salicylate (20g), to 1 part ethyl lactate (20g) to 2.5 parts sesame seed oil again the amount in grams and just tossed in as a made up example the parts per are as I the patent I'm wondering since they are saying2.5 parts sesame seed oil or whatever oil if they are physically measuring the oil I grams at 2.5 times the amount of raw or each other single part which I guess makes sense and ppl already do this with tne and say 2g guaiacol per gram raw which it's actually fairly light so when guys are using 20%, from what I measured on my freshly calibrated scale came back as a lot less like almost a quarter of the 20%

Anyway I guess I'm just looking for what options we have out there which might be the safest long term and which ones work. If anyone has any input on solvents they use feel free I know at one time a lab that's been around for years claimed to use either methylparaben, or paraben's in their gear and stated they do not use any ba or bb
