I am brand spanking new to home brew. I recently came across this site and this forum. AMAZING information here!

After reading numerous recipes I have a simple question. Should I add the BA last?

I found a winny recipe on this site where the commentors suggested adding the BA at the end. The winny was to be dissolved in oil and the reason for adding the BA at the end was because of the heating necessary to get the winny to melt and fully dissolve. Basically the BA evaporates at 170 degrees, if memory serves me. Since BA is the preservative and the sheild against bacteria growth I definitely want it in my finished viles.

If the BA for the oil dissolved winny needed to be added last to make sure it didn't evaporate away during the heating then should I do that for any oil dissolved hormone?

My first Brew's will be test e and dhb. I am fairly sure a slow monkey with brain damage can manage test e but I am alert to the obviously wide assortment of dhb recipes out there.

So, should the BA be put in at the beginning or the end.

If I have obviously misunderstood something please let me know. I do not want my new home brew endeavor to lead to infection or worse.

Ba and bb go in first they act as solvents
Ba does too, to a degree.
U don't need to heat anything that hot
And ba on its own will do that not in the cocktail....
U examining too much
I will send u 2 links

U not making winny u making test e and DHB

BB and ba go in with raw powder and lightly heat till clear.....

Then add oil heated oil then heat together

It doesn't need to get that hot and 170 will not damage ba as it's suspended....

For test e 250mg just use
16% BB
2% BA
Rest oil GSO... etc...
Use this it's easier trust me...

DHB use Macho's recipe or first one in post...

Ok so the BA going last for the oil winny is just a one off, unique to that one specific case due to the amount of heating necessary to make the winny melt? Or was this recipe just "wrong?"

And thank you for the guidance. I am going to master a 250 test e before hopefully getting it up to 350-400 some day.

I would like the dhb to be 100 but I have run 75 before with no PIP, the bottles didn't crash even after sitting for almost 6 months, and something tells me the provided recipe is going to be very close to what I ran in the past. I will be doing to 75 before I try the 100.

It seems like people have issues with just test cyp holding as well as 1-test cyp holding. I consistently see test cyp recipes with EO but not for test e. Is this a coincidence or is there something going on with the cyp ester?

If u not making winny don't worry about it....
Winny complicated..
If u mechanically inclined and can follow instructions then do exactly that per proven recipe per compound!!!
Ba is to keep sterile and also can be a solvent in certain things like test e for example.... it depends on what it takes to dissolve each hormone...

Winny has oil and water recipes and I am not familiar with any of them....

If u making test e and DHB worry about that only. My advice is if u cooking a meal follow recipe and your dish will come out that way... In time u will figure out how to tweak for your own recipe....

Someone who never cooked a meal needs to follow directions on say beef pot roast and realize that chicken smothered may be different. Don't confuse the chick and beef...

Instead of evaluating worry about hormone and recipe for that hormone. Worry about process and sterilization..

Don't go to hardest things first...
Test e a start
DHB more of challenge....
