Default Melting points. And raw's quality.

Since this sight helped me through my first homebrew I figured this would be the spot for this thread.

Long story short. My first raws order had test enanthate and DHB plus ancillaries. Everything went well so I made a second order. The second order had numerous compounds. Well I live in one of the real hot states and I left town for the weekend with my ac off. I didn't realize it was going to get as hot as it did. When I came back I discovered the remaining test enanthate from my first order was now an oily substance and the second batch was a slightly melted white looking rock. My conclusion was the first batch was quality and fairly pure and the second was not. It's possible it was half test enanthate and another test ester mixed in as this batch was the "throw in for free bonus." I contacted the supplier they claimed they were the same product from the same batch on their end. I don't buy that for a minute.

Now I am currently pricing those digital hot plates so I can conduct melt tests on my entire shipment. Any recommendations for a well priced controlled heat hot plate? I am currently looking at one meant for electronics but it goes up to 350 C and I can select exact temps but I am open to anyone's input especially from experience.

My next question is about drostanolone enanthate, I can not find a consistent melting point online. Can anyone help?
Also I can not find a melting point for DHB cypionate at all, anyone?
I am seeing a range of melting points for trenbolone enanthate, npp and stanozolol but they are all within a 10-20 degree window. Do the melting points vary depending on manufacturing method or end grade like human vs veterinarian grade? I would not think that stuff would effect melting points but I am new to this.

Finally does anyone know what they might cut the raws with? My plan is to slowly ramp up the heat and watch to see if part melts before the standard melting point and then to make sure the entire thing melts at the appropriate temp. Would this method allow me to possibly identify what they might cut the raws with? (That is if they cut them)

This is a profound moment for me. Based on results I am the only one who is trying to check and verify quality, short of sending a sample to a lab. It's that or no one wants to share their knowledge.

I might be slightly emotional because I am going through a brake up and these are the first beers I have had in probably a year.

I still find it odd no one chimed in on how to check quality of raws.

I checked melting points on Chemical Book and Pubchem.ncbi , i found can be thrustworthy.

By the way im searching a digital stirring hot plate too, because i wanna test some purity and because i wasted a lot of Tren with heat and i wanna try don't go over 40 C because im afraid of degrading compounds.

    found this

    Test P 120 C
    Test E 36 C
    Test Base 120 C
    Test Cyp 100 C
    Tren Ace 90 C
    Tren Enanth 75 C
    Dianabol 166 C
    Oxymetholone 172 C
    Stanozolol 220 C
    NPP 95 C
    Boldenone Cyp 95 C
DHB Cyp 150 C (i m not sure since i read that cypionate ester is present i think only on black market so there s no data maybe for Cyp ester)
    Primobolan Enanth 70 C

Wow!!! That is the first dhb cup melting point I have ever seen and I have searched and searched.

I literally just as in yesterday just brewed a batch of dhb cyp at 150mgs. I still have some raw, going to check that melt point against what I have.
I honestly don't even know how reliable melt tests are but logic tells me that it would be pretty hard for those middlemen packaging the raws into smaller packages to find and calculate what things they can cut each hormone with to keep the original melting point.

I have this digitally controlled hotplate that claims it can hold the degree within plus or minus one degree. I always take a small sample and spread it real thin like a few granules here and there. Then I have a small pile about the size of an eraeser head. I figure there is a chance if it is cut that the cutting agent just dissolved when the main hormone melts. That's why I spread out a few granules by themselves. So far every test has been about the same, I get the the higher end of the known melt ranges and Bam the pile and the granules all melt almost like they were all connected. I guess they could cut something when the hormone is still liquid then process it back into powder and thus still have a fairly homogeneous product just less pure. Idk. I am using knowledge and some experience I picked up from a friend that use to but larger amounts of cocaine and Crystal meth for retail sales.

I forgot to add in that I have been assured from a source (and I believe the claim,) that claimed to process large amounts of raws for retail; that you don't actually damage the hormone heating it. I am sure that if you went to 1000 degrees then yes but as far as heating it to 120 Celsius to thoroughly melt and sterilize it, then there is no risk to "cooking" the hormone.
Now I would still be hesitant to heat a batch of oil dissolved stanozolol to stanazolols melting point because of the other ingredients in the brew, not because of the stanozolol or the temp. In fact I believe most of the oil Stan recipes say to add in the BA after the heating. Even still I think that 220 is below the boiling point of BA but off the top of my head I am not 100%.

Seriously thank you, I am actually excited to melt test my dhb cyp. Ah, the simple pleasures in life for a gym junkie like me.

I performed a melt test on my dhb cyp. It started melting at about 122 Celsius. The top of the small pile didn't melt until about 128 Celsius. I think that is to do with my digital hot plate. It's not like a hot plate you cook on, it doesn't radiate heat, it transfers heat by contact and the top of the small pile had different airflow vs the bottom. I know it sounds off but I have had the same issue before with other samples and if I make the sample very thin then they always melt together but if it is thick enough then the bottoms melts and then the top takes a few more degrees to melt.
So I don't even know if I have actual dhb cup, I think I do but not 100% sure because I have no way of testing it beyond melting and using it.

Steroid Powder Melting Points Guideline! Might make this a sticky
    Melting points. And raw's quality.
