Gainer question
Hi. I'm interested in dumb question, sorry for this. What do you think guys gainers are just waste of money? is it needed for bulking?
Because in my opinion it's useless, 'coz you can use high-carbs foods and gain mass instead of using "magic" gainer. It's marketing, no more.
Your opinions? Is it have sense to use gainer instead of classic high-carbs meals?

Truth be told I use to buy giant bags of weider weight gainer , they were identical to giant bags of dog food lol
I was very young maybe 19 or 20 years old and being 6”3 and far too thin for my liking , I couldn’t eat nearly as much food as I would of needed to equal what I could more easily chug down in liquid form . So to answer this question , my personal opinion is it has its place for guys just starting out in the gym and can’t eat whole meals to the degree needed to pack on size. Mine had zero nutritional value lol not sure what’s available today but mine was all fat, and carbs lol and at the time working construction it was easier for my skinny ass
Id likely advise someone to eat whole meals over weight gainer powder but I also understand the convenience and short term need for weight gainers

And this wasn’t a dumb question and in fact when I read it and thought about it before replying , I found it an interesting question to be quite honest!

If you are having trouble eating enough real food I think they can be a valuable asset. Yes they are “dirty” to a normal person, but someone who can’t eat enough and can’t seem to gain weight it might be a good addition to their regimen. Drinking 1000 kcals might be easier than eating same amount to some. I have used them and if used in correct manner they are very useful. Just my .02

I have one in the morning and one after working out. I'm 6'2" 208 lb and have a hard time getting enough food in. Never have been a big eater so the shakes really help,me out.
