Just wanted to say hi and I look forward to getting some of my future questions answered . mbstrong referred me to this site. I have been working out for a few months due to the work of my current boyfriend (mbstrong)....and I would  really like to start toning and cuting up more. Im doing alot of cardio to lose like 10-15 more pounds before I "bulk" up. I have been using metabolife and its really not working anymore. I think my body is immune to it. mbstong was talking about eca and I was wondering if y'all had any suggestions. Thanks :biggrin:
 
welcome.....u need to take a break when taking metabolife.....they say u can take it forever..but no u can not....your body will become "immune" to it so to speak it will just adapt...eca same thing always take aleast a week or two off inbetween every two or three weeks on....do not havea  whole lot of time to write...gotta get going but there is a short and sweet way to tell u what u need to do....there are  a lot of infomative people on this board..they will probably add more....<!--emo&:)--><img src="http://musclechemistry.mantisforums.com/IB3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
 
Welcome to the board! You can change to a different weight loss product but I am pretty sure Metabolife is an ECA compound. I could be wrong, but i don't think so. Stacker 2 works well and so does Diet fuel. Most ECAs are roughly the same thing. Some are more potent and some are manufactured differently making them work better but they are all pretty much the same. Good luck, later

welcome to the board..... it's good to have another female here.... we seem to be a rare breed...  
as for the metabolife and eca.. you have to take a break every once and a while.. just like with any stimulant.. your body becomes immune and a tolerance can develop..   if you stop taking it for about 3-4 weeks..... and then start up again..  you should start to see it work again.....

Thanks.. I think ill take a break and maybe try something else like diet fuel... Although eventually I would not mind  getting some info on some supplements, but I dont think Mb is having that. Anyway Ill defenitly keep y'all posted on how its going and get some b4 and after pics.

Metabolife contains the same active ingredients as an ECA stack. You would be better off switching to a product that contains norephedrine/yohimbine/caffeine to switch things up. (Adipokinetix and NitroCuts are two products that contain the NYC stack).

Definately keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks for the advice pumpdog.. are those the actuall names of the pills? and am I able to get those at gnc?
 
Adipokinetix is made by Syntrax ... Don't think you'll find those at GNC since GNC tends to shy away from "controvesrial" products.

To find Syntrax products, try a good supplement store that caters to bodybuilder's (usually have names like "Steve's Nutrition" or "Healthworks" ... check your phone book)... or even some gyms may carry the products.
 
oh ok thanks, but I honestly I have no clue what they are.. I so way new to this stuff.. So in all honesty I have no clue where I would find that stuff I guess I could ask my boyfriend, but who knows if he will know.. u know the whole meat head think.. hehe j/k u know I luv u mb.. but anywho.. am I able to get these in a store or no? again thanks =0)
