friend of mine needs help

Hello women, need a little help please.  A girl friend of mine has some fat angles and said it's because she is italian.  Anyway is there any special excercise she could do that would trim them done.  I would ask the trainer at my gym but I had it out with him the other day.
 
I don't think anything is great at spot reduction mb, how about some T4,people seem to prefer T4 in women and T3 in men.
 
There are a lot of misconceptions about losing fat deposits. A lot of people believe if you excersize a certain area (abs are very popular for this) you will lose fat in that area. This is not true. Unless drugs are used (like HGH) your body will decide where its going to remove fat from and everyone is different. Its decided by genetics. So, diet and cardio are really the only thing that will work and sooner or later it will start to deplete the fat in the "hard to burn" areas. Later
 
MB...I just want to make sure I understand the question.  Do you mean she has thick ankles???.....if so she should get the book...Supervixen.  It gives some great calve exercises to help "push" the muslce up and make the ball of the calve bigger....helping make the ankle look smaller....hope that makes sense.
 
Thanx for the help everyone.  Dezir I am going to get that book for myself too because my calves will not grow.  I just started hitting them twice a week and up the reps to 20 so I'll see what that does.  Yes she does have big thick angles.

Just make sure to tell her not to get discouraged too early........it does work but it takes time to see good results........WORK, WORK, WORK.  We can't all have been blessed with long slender legs.  :cheesy:
