hemorrhoids

Of all the subjects discussed on MC, here's one that I haven't been able to find a thread on: hemorrhoids. For those who may not know, a hemorrhoid is a swollen/inflamed vein either on the anus or inside the rectum. About 30% of the population gets them, and apparently that percentage is MUCH...

Anyone have trouble with hemorrhoids? I've always had them, but they've really gotten bad this past year. It is kind of my understanding that most weight lifters get them at some point. My doctor is sending me to a surgeon to see if I need to have them removed.
