    OK so I see 308 lb used bumper plates, the colored ones, are for sale on a auction from a college about 150 miles away. They are used, which I would paint them.     Anyone know best way to muffel deadlift noise?

    Not for me as I dont mind it (the constant banging of plates on rubber floor) but I have a hunch a few of the soft cores in my gym are right on the verge of commenting on it. I have no bumper plates. And I dont want to piss off my bread and butter folks by saying "thats the sound of a gym" truth...
