    There is an idea of who I am: some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me; only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel my flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

    I'll be 62 in abt 3 wks and I;m still pumping away albeit a bit slower. After 40 yrs of lifting having hard time getting parallel on squats so do smith squats or hacks mostly these days. Deads are out of question, risk vs reward not in my favor

    The long of it, getting slower but will do all this for as long as I can, if I get my atrophied left arm fixed I may even consider competing again

    that sucks brutha, but i certainly feel ya and right there with ya in terms of having to weigh the pros and cons of certain exercises that i never thought i would have to sideline lol
