The 2023 edition of the Ben Weider Naturals Pro/Am contest will be held on the weekend of Nov. 17-18, 2023, in Alexandria, VA. The competition features amateur and pro contests. The winners of the amateur shows earn IFBB Pro League cards, which makes them eligible to enter pro division contests.


The 2023 Ben Weider Naturals Pro/Am contest will award 2024 Olympia qualifications to the winners of eight of the nine contested divisions. A qualification will not be awarded to the Men’s Open winner, nor the Women’s Bodybuilding winner, should a contest for the latter be held.

Classic Physique Athletes to Watch
Below are athletes likely to contend for the podium in Classic Physique:


Lenny Wicks
Lenny Wicks is the two-time defending champion of this contest, having claimed gold in 2021 and 2022. His last onstage appearance was the 2022 Classic Physique Olympia, where he finished outside the top 15.


Chuck Mauceri
Chuck Mauceri is a Masters competitor who finished second to Wicks in the 2022 Ben Weider Naturals Pro. Mauceri aims to even the score. This is his first contest appearance of the 2023 calendar year.


Kim Chan Young
South Korea’s Kim Chan Young ranked sixth at the 2022 South Korea Pro. This will be his first contest appearance on American soil.

Aurika Tyrgale
Aurika Tyrgale is entering her fifth contest of 2023. Her previous best finish was second in the 2023 Tampa Pro.


Michelle Gales
This is Michelle Gale’s fifth show of 2023. She finished as high as fourth twice in 2023 contests. Gales ranked third in the 2022 edition of the Ben Weider Natural Pro.


Abby Bolton
Abby Bolton scored silver in this contest in 2022 behind Danielle Dacosta. Bolton ranked 12th overall in the 2022 Fitness Olympia, won by fellow Canadian Missy Truscott.
