Buying a gym...

Thank you all...your advice and insight is invaluable.

I met today to go over numbers...again. I never realized just how tough it is to make it in the industry. Everyone wants something for free, and everyone bitches and moans about paying $1 dollar a day. The lease alone on the building is $3000, and monthly estimated costs will topple $6000. I might be better off taking my money to the casino at this point. 2 more days until I truly know what I am going to do. Can't help but say I am nervous.

What's the final decision Bro?

I've always wanted to open one.Two of the names I thought up were"THE SWEAT SHOP" or "THE GYM"(G-get,Y-your,M-muscle)besides what do most of us say when asked where you are going we say "THE GYM".Until my son was about 10 he that I was always hanging out at some guy named JIM'S house.

lmao thats awesome OT yeah thats always been my dream its just hard to make a good living unless you got a shitload of money to dump in it or are in an area where lifting and our lifestyle is popular which i am not.

Yep ya gotta have the cash. There are alot of gyms where I live but no hardcore ones. It's either for families or a damn country club for people who want to be seen.the last hardcore one we had closed in the mid 80's when they started cracking down on juice. It was also where Haney trained until won his first Mr.olympia.Then he Became Moved to ATL. and it has always been stated as his home.I want to open one with not only weights but Boxing as well.I don't think I've ran across on anywhere inthis state that has any type of real boxing offered.
