How many calories do you consume?

I'm trying to get in a minimum of 4000 a day. The more the better. I find myself squeezing in a cheat meal or two almost everyday now! I hate to do it, but to get all those calories with clean home cooked food is a huge pain in the ass! Chicken and rice is only about 500 cal a meal. I eat beef and salmon usually once a day which helps maybe bring it to 700 cals a meal. I would rather get fat then not hit my calorie quota. Lol. I've been getting shakes with a few big macs as one of my go to quick meals. That's like 1500 cals at least! Any other high calorie eaters in here? Do ya keep it clean or get them however ya can?

I eat pretty clean for the most part, but when calories are on the line and I aint hitting the quota, I'm on some Pop-Tarts like no ones business son. Or Long John Silvers.... LMAO!!!

I shoot for 4000 ed, but probobaly only get 3500
 
over 4000 on a bulk, under 3500 for a cut. i'll sometimes eat a few slices of pizza or a double quarter pounder if i'm feeling like i need more calories. I try not to make a habit of it if i can help it. Genetics play a huge roll in what you can get away with diet wise. Some get huge and ripped eating pizza and fast food while others like me, struggle to stay lean even on a clean diet.

Hell Kali Muscle is a huge advocate for eating dirty. He recommends donuts and junk food for bulking lol. some can get away with it.
 
I used to do all that crap... I took in a huge amount of calories as I believed that's what I needed. The food was good, but I felt sick most of the time and I had to deal with the occasional "off" workout. I changed all that up when I was able to start training again this year. 3lbs of chicken a day, some eggs, turkey sausage... then I started with only a pack of oatmeal. The rest was broccoli. I got leaner and as I flattened out and suffered I slowly adjusted my carbs to where I had good energy through the day, consistent great workouts, AND still leaning out with my 30-45 minutes of cardio a day. I also made good consistent strength gains. I eat a single healthy but calorie dense cheat meal once a week or when I need it (a Publix sub, or a few slices of pizza, or a steak with chicken tenders and bread), but I dont eat fast food crap. Those calories are garbage and cause havoc with my digestive system.
There are so many factors involved in this game. Personally I want to look good ALL THE TIME and I want to make progress ALL THE TIME.
It's a daily battle of will power. As I come closer to my idea of perfection, the sacrifices I make seem almost trivial

i haven't counted calories in years nor do i have even an idea of what i consume now, I eat like a fucking bird, during the day and then carb up before gym late afternoon but i know I'm no where near some of you guys in calorie consumption

judging by your avi, i think you're doin just fine with your diet lol
