Deltoid Steroid Injections gone wrong

Anyone just have those weird injections that seem to be cursed? Last night I was doing a simple injection in my delt. The needle broke the skin, but just wouldn't go in. I kept applying more pressure and it just wouldn't go. Finally I pushed hard enough to get about 3/4 of the needle in and figured that would have to do. Then I'm pulling the needle out and the tip won't come out. It just keeps pulling the skin with it. You know what I'm talking about, when your skin looks like a teepee around the needle. I was like what the hell, is the damned needle barbed on the end or something? Finally it popped out and I studied the needle closely, but it seemed to be normal. Just weird.

I've had that, mainly cause there was a lot of friction between the scar tissue and the needle so it wasn't a smooth pull out

never had that happen, I normally let a tiny bead of oil run down it for lube before I remove the cap though so that probably helps some.

Same. Honestly I like quads. I messed up a tricep trying to find new spots now it had a dead cluster of nerves

I don't do,anything except quads. I just rotate sites

Sounds like you got some scar tissue buildup. Try to rotate injection sites more often and avoid that exact spot.

Yeah, probably some scarring in that area. Also, I injected in the middle of a tattoo...but, I've never known that to make a difference.

Yea i dont think the tattoo would do anything. Do you inject delts often? You'll also build up scar tissue quicker with bigger needles of course. But I've had that issue once or twice cuz I'm just a really big fan of quads, lots of room! But your bound to go in the same spot after a few hundred or thousand pins lol but you may wanna find a new favorite spot for a while if that is the case. Just to ease up on scar tissue. Perhaps go get a deep tissue massage as well to help break up some of the tissue.

im a firm believer in the deep tissue massage! My best chest workout ever was right after a deep tissue massage, I could not believe how pumped full of blood my chest was, and the all the tension in my back was gone, the guy actually was popping little nodule like tension spots, it was fucking wild

Ya sounds like a case of some serious scar tissue. Move that needle a little. Lol. I hate delt injections. Mine knot up and becomes very uncomfortable.

Those little pressure points are horrible bro lol. You feel great after, the first few times though you feel like you were hit with a bat lol I've never gotten to go get a workout in after a massage I really want to though.
