Ok, So I am the friend that JayWooly is speaking of. lol. I didn't know that he posted this until he told me about it.
Last year I lost a good amount of fat. Probably about 7 or 8 % bf. I was making good gains naturally throughout the course of the year and hit a plateu so I decided to try AS.
Well, I was making good gains at the beginning of the cycle with d-bol. I was slightly over 180 lbs which is decent for me. About 13 pounds up from my starting weight. Then had some personal problems and dropped most of that due to my diet mainly. Now my diet is just about back in line. I still need to get the protein and carbs up there. My main question is:
Do you guys think that hitting each muscle twice per week is over training? I'm trying to get back to basics with more combo exercises to hit my muscles a little more per week. It is somewhat of a alternating M-W-F, T-TH workout scheme.
M-W-F
Flat Bench 3x8 M, W
Incline Dumbell 3x8 M, W
Alternating Bicep Curl/Skull Crusher every other M, W, F
Alternating Rows/Shoulder Press M, W, F
Alternating Flys/Pull Downs M, W, F
T-TH
Squat 3x8-10 T
Leg Extension 3x10-12 T
Leg Curl 3x10 T
Dead Lift 3x8 TH
Calf Raise 3x15 TH
ABS Crunches/Machine T, TH
My legs are my strong point, and I don't need to train them too much. My upper body is deffinitely lacking and I feel as though I need to switch something up to make some gains. What do you guys think?
