ya, you could check it in the morning or you could check it two hours after you eat a meal. the normal range for blood sugars are 75-125. if your blood sugar levels are above that level after two hours then i'd definately seek help. when i was diagnosed my sugar was up to 500. my doctor got me on insulin and the next day a nurse came out to my house to kinda talk me through my first day and do my first injections and all that jazz. but, i wouldn't put that shit off dude, you may not feel it now, but down the road you may get some horrible side effects like losing limbs and losing vision. shit, i've had it since i was 13, and i'm now 20 and i'm losing feeling in my little toe. mostly due to the face that i've been drinking really heavy for the two years. well, got any other questions and i'll try and give you a hand.... just hit up a search in yahoo for diabetes and you should get some good sites... good luck
