HCG....yes or no?

the last couple of weeks of my cycle, should I start HCG?

I was just gonna use nolvadex for post cycle but some recommend HCG before that.

cycle is only 600 test and 300 deca a week.

I was thinking of not using it until my next cycle when test will be higher (more like 800mg) and shutdown will be worse.

I think it's a pretty common misconception about having varying degrees of being shutdown. If your hypothalamus is not releasing any GnRH and your pituitary is not releasing any LH, then you're shutdown. There's no way you can be more shutdown. There has been speculation that longer cycles may screw up the internal timing of the endocrine system, but generally if you're shutdown, there's no way you can be more shutdown from greater doses, for example.

I just wanted to get that out of the way. Clearly, it's my opinion (and probably anyone who has ever tried hcg this way) that you should have been running hcg throughout your cycle. Since you didn't, I would use it at the end of the cycle to help restore testicular mass and function. Just be prepared for a rebound effect, in which case you may need to "re-challenge" your endocrine system with both hcg and nolvadex. Read the hcg faq's thread and then find the prescribing info for Pregnyl (from Organon). That should help a lot.
