guest poser

our provincial championships were last weekend here in BC. and we had the pleasure of having a fellow come all the way from Germany to guest pose (i will post pictures below)

i moderate a large canadian bb board, if fact, im the senior moderator there and after the pics were posted, most of the members SLAMMED him:mad:

they called him "fat" they said he looked like shit...blah...blah...blah....i, of course stuck up for him, you see, i have guest posed with a few weeks notice and been off season, it's not a nice look, but you do the best with what you got. this guy is 6 feet tall and 315lbs! don't they realize that;
1)in order to fill that frame, he has to weigh that much
2)he's OFF SEASON!!!!!!!!

well....now im a bitch. they all hate me (and tell me so in pm's as well as on the open forum) and say im too "opinionated"

IMO, these assholes that hide behind their computers and have nothing nice to say about anyone, shouldn't say anything at all....

Then they just dont know what it takes to get ready for a comp. I had the hardest damn time losing my extra bodyfat for mine. and it was 6 weeks out and i still only lost 2% of the 5% i wanted to... dumbass's

Damn, that is awesome even offseason he is a big man.
I can see the other side of teh coin as well--- King Kamali guest posed a few years back was something like 290-300 off season- looked fat to most and even more so in his terminator garb. I think people feel that they pay good money to see a guest poser so many are disappointed to see someone they read about in offseason shape. It is indeed difficult to stay in shape all year round- hard on the body, but some plan their bulking around their appearances. I think he looks great and you were right to support him.

I would never be dissapointed to see someone in offseason shape........ understanding what they go through.
He's a beast either way and gets my respect.

It's hard to plan on short notice. Rough business all the way around. oh well :)

i would agree with 14% or so.....

you CANNOT sit in contest shape all year round, it's not good for you. (wasn't there a bb named Munzer that died from this?)

Presser~all i know is he competes in NABBA, for those of you that don't know, NABBA is a completely different federations, with different "views" on competitors (eg~they like the "big freak" look", bigger, the better) as opposed to IFBB.

i have guest posed with about 4 weeks notice when i was off-season, i certainly didn't step on stage shredded, it just doesn't happen when youre off-season.

well you shouldnt even have had to show his in shape contest photos, if anyone cant look at that guest posing pic and not know that guy has it when he diets down then they have no business on making a negative reply

Agreed, it's hard work that got him there in the first place, it's definitely jealousy, but oh well, he knows himself better than anybody, so to hell with all the haters....
