If you put as much effort and time into other things like you do the gym would you be rich by now?

In college I used to go to the computer lab to write a paper, and spend the entire time reading up on body building articles and checking out message boards. Not only would I not get the paper done...I would skip class the next day.

Now when I have to get things done for work, I'm doing the same thing which probably affects my raises, so I would have to say yes...I'd be rich!

no...if I put as much effort into other things as I do in the gym I'd probably be living in a cardboard box under a freeway somewhere. lol. j/k

I'd probably have a lot more money if I focused my attention to other things.

I hear ya! And I majored in accounting...lol. Man I could have gone places...

old thread..lol

Honestly, I don't know if I'd be rich or not, but it seems like my life has been a flip flop. I'm working so much now that it's a detriment to my physical shape. Not that I'm completely out of shape, but unfortunately I've had to focus a lot more on real life issues than bodybuilding. It really sucks, because bodybuilding was my greatest hobby and outlet of stress. Either way I'm going to start hitting it hard again.

ditto that bro... I would love to find the perfect balance to be able to be successful at work and be able to healthy and fit and look great all at the same time. When I was low on work I was in great shape and when I'm really busy at work and doing well professionally I fall out of shape quickly!
