Yes, AAS does boost your metabolism and can in turn raise blood pressure. Most people can successfully control this by watching and controlling sodium intake, taking in plenty of potassium, drinking at least 1 gal of water a day. If you take either an anti-estrogen like arimidex, or an estrogen protagonist like nolvadex, that will help shed water and in should help lower BP too. Whenever you are "on", it's safe to get your BP checked at least weekly. If you do all this and still have high BP, you should see a doc and get something to control it.
