..a few other thoughts as well...a keto diet is very effective, but like napalm said already, it's best to do it for a short period of time. I can only handle about 3 weeks personally. When you come off, DON"T GO EAT A BUNCH OF PIZZA, BEER OR OTHER SHIT! If you do, the rebound you experience will totally fuck the results you just worked your ass off for. The first carbs you eat ideally should be ramped up over a few weeks and consist of complex carbs like whole grains or veggies... no sugar, pasta, refined flour products for a week or longer. Up your carbs slowly and do it clean. That way, you'll be really happy with the results. Oh, one other thing, if you do a keto diet, they say you can eat whatever protein and fat you want like bacon, sausage, etc... That may be true, but if you down lots of those trans fats and get used to eating that greasy shit, it will be alot harder to eat clean when you come off the diet.
