i personally know 5 people who are on right now, and only 1 of the 5 has ever stepped on stage. Im in a small bubble but id have to think the number is closer to 50/50 than 20%?
ALOT of guys doing it just to improve themselves, and why not, workn out sux when ur not "on". when i workout when im not on, its something i do to maintain my sanity. when i workout while on i workout to acheive goals and improve myself.
