I prefer to, whenever possible. My current split right now takes about four days. So, with an off day or two a week, I can't quite do everything twice, but I can usually do one or two body parts twice in a week.
I have a 4 day routine and on the 5th day I work whichever body part I feel that needs most work on. I love this because it helps that body part catch up with the rest.
I havnt for awhile, but have in the past...it seems to help, if you can hold back on the volume and intensity of the second workout. Just gotta get in hit it, then get out, eat, and rest...
ive been hitting my arms twice a week for about 8 months now, and ive grown an inch and a half on them. i now some of you might not be imrpessed with and 1+, but its really hard for me to build my arms.
im at 19 and some change cold now.
ive been hitting them on tuesdays bi's and tri's.
then burn out tri's with just two excersices-two sets each on thursday after shoulders
and do the same thing on saturday with back, hitting bi's right after. two excersises-two sets to failure.
its all light weights used like 50-60% of what i would normally work out with.
