WWE's Mason Ryan responds to talk of steroids
The new big man of the WWE, Mason Ryan has heard his share of implications that he's on steroids. For the first time, Ryan, tongue in cheek, responded to a fan that asked him what he was on. According to a Tuesday November 15th report by WrestlingInc.com, Mason Ryan made the following comments in response to the fan's question: "Not steroids, man... Wheaties! I love cereal."
Ryan is the second coming of Batista according to many wrestling fans and critics. His large physique has drawn allegations that he's taking PEDs. The former gladiator on "American Gladiator", has become a rising star in the WWE and with the newfound success has come more questions about his physique.
Pro-wrestling has a long history with performance enhancing drugs especially the WWE. But, until there's a failed drug test or admission by Ryan, he deserves the benefit of the doubt.
Currently, Ryan is becoming one of the top faces on RAW and will be a member of Team Orton, along with Sin Cara, Sheamus, Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston, as they take on Team Barrett at the upcoming Survivor Series PPV on Sunday. I expect a strong showing by Ryan. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he was the final survivor in the 10 man tag-team elimination match.
