How soon to cut HGH out before a contest ?

For the guys that compete, how soon do you believe in cutting out HGH before a show ? For me I kept it in all the way to the show and felt like it made me hold a thin layer of water below my muscle's. I felt if I wouldve cut it out sooner, (say 5-6 days) then I couldve been dryer on stage. For my clients I always cut it out about 7 days out, just to be safe. But, I would like opinion's of other's that use HGH for pre contest.

Most of the guys I know cut it out 10-14 days prior.

I'd say between 1-2 weeks out
