Since there are thousands of different supplements out there promising megabolic gains,thought I'd start a list of ones that aren't worth a shit. No sense throwing money at the supplement companies unless your getting back some mass. So I'll start the list with a some that IMO are a total waste of cash,please add to the list,from what you've learned,from personal experience or research and all comments welcome.
1) Prohormones: in general they have the same sides or worse than AAS, a high estrogen conversion,produce elevated lipids, cause hairloss etc but very little upside anabolic gains. Your tits will grow faster than your Bi's. The newer 1-AD/1-Test are more promising but $$$$$$.
2) Tribulus Terrestis: suggested to stimulate LH. Sevaral studies show no effects on body composition or strength.
3) Cranberry extract: Does nothing for the kidneys unless you are a woman fighting a bladder infection. It works by reducing bacterial adherence to the bladder wall. It has no detoxifying effects. If you want to keep your kidneys healthy drink lots of water and save some $$.
4) Boron: proposed to raise test levels but studies consistantly show no impact on muscle mass and strength @2.5mg/day.
