I temp fix so you dont have to keep logging in. When you are in the main page of mc.com you will see that little eye with the red circle in the status bar. Double click it. Then click summary and you will have an option to always allow cookies from this site. Then you will not have to keep logging in. I will post a little video on how to do it.
I don't know if this will help anyone, but for some reason when I use internet explorer I have to log in every time, but not if I use Netscape...Again, no idea why this is, but worth a try to not sign in all the time.
then there is no problem. I suspect that this is true for everyone else who is having this problem and it's probably an HTTP server config setting that's different for each of these URLs.
shit.. makes sense... it's because the board is registered with the subdomain but it points from mc.com ... hmm... need to get that fixed.. thanks th1rty6 .. much appreciated..
Glad I could help. I've been a UNIX Administrator for 12 years, so I know a lot about a little and a little about a lot. I've setup a few Apache servers in my time. I don't know what you guys are running here, but I suspect it's NT and IIS.
You've done a great job with this board stickler*!
username.. i feel ya bro.. the tren should make have an "extra edge" .. LOL... watch it when the pc gets frustrating.. it takes a "little" extra control..
gear101... there is a referring page through musclechem's domain registration.. and sometimes they suck.. i think we'll end up jus tpoint to the hosting company instead of having it sit on the registration companies shoulders... sometimes they just need a swift kick in the ass i guess!!
oh yeah.. i changed a setting or two.. that worked when we had the old software.. after people have cleaned out thier cookies and all it should work. Also, I need people to keep logging into musclechemistry.com ... not just the board1 url.. so please do me a favor and keep trying that.. let me know if people still need to login ALL THE TIME. ... hopefully the problem has been fixed.
