The sport stands alone when compared with others for all the reasons you bros stated. One would have to be ignorant to think that these players are doing this without the help of juice. Then you compare Sosa and Bonds to somebody like Luis Gonzalez, and it makes you wonder. Luis is hitting close to 60 homers a year, this year he is on pace for 57 or 58, and I don't think he is "using." So I say make the MLB players ommit to testing in the 2004 season, giving everyone like Luis, if he chooses to do so, one last chance to play under the aid of AAS. Thats what I would do, but then again I am pro steroids, only if educated and not used without care.
I know this would raise tons of arguements, but then again what doesn't. Something like 29% of Americans think we shouldn't being fighting this war against terroism, because we don't belong going into other contries and "flexing our guns." So I say fuck those people, give the MLB players a season and a half and then start the random testing.
I do agree on the salary cap, some of these contracts are rediculous, and just will keep growing larger. Screw them f they want to go on strike, don't pay them and get people that "enjoy" playing the sport.
