From Ziplip
How do I send a standard message? ZipLip Plus enables our users to send email in both a secure fashion or in a standard fashion. Standard emails are sent out, unencrypted, through the Internet to the recipient's email address, just like regular email. Standard email can be sent from the same ZipLip Plus account and interface that you use for Secure email.
What is the difference between sending securely and sending standard? The difference between ZipLip secure email and ZipLip standard email is that the Secure mail is protected by a password and stored encrypted on a central server at ZipLip. Only one copy of the secure mail exists in the sender's sent secure folder and access is provided to this copy. Furthermore, Secure mail provides the sender with additional features to track recipient access, revoke recipient access permissions and also provides the sender with a receipt notification, stating the time and date that the email was read by the recipient. Standard mail, on the other hand functions exactly like existing standard mail, it is distributed unencrypted through the Internet and cannot provide any of the advanced features that secure email can, such as audit trail options, receipt notification and access manipulation options.
