All of you guys' crazy numbers in that bench press max thread... That was sick!! What about your power clean max??? Do gears help in the same proportion? Wouldn't think so but I'm definately no expert...
Same here, I just started 8 weeks ago. I do them for explosiveness and power, mainly from the hang. I do clean and snatch grip high pulls from the floor too.
I think they are great for sports performance but also a cool incentive was a nice amount of definition and thickness in my upper back muscle, rhomboid/trapezius which I had never been able to really develop.
