My wife just booked a vacation for us at the end of Feb. We are headed to Lake Placid, NY for 5 days. Just curious to find out if anyone here has ever been there to ski or board???

nope never been there and didnt even know lake Placid was a real lake, cuase im pretty sure "Lake Placid" is the name of a Movie or somehting like that

Presser Lake Placid was where the 1980 winter Olympics were held. Yes its a real place, no I have not been there.

I guess the winter olympians train there. We have a fuckin bobsled day booked. Im a bit frightened
