Started off in the gym tonight with my partner doing chest. I always start with inclines, because that's "the weakest" part of the pecs. Well 4th set in, I was feeling good, just got done with a set of 225 for 12 and decided to push. I said I'm going for 6 reps at the most with 335. 3Rd rep felt good, but heavy. I said one more, went down, on the way back up, left pec/delt area, it felt/sounded like ripping a pair of jeans, followed by a shit ton of pain. Thank goodness for my partner... She helped me finish the rep so I didn't drop it. It is swollen, but ass you can see in the pic, not really discolored. I kept stretching it, and she massaged it a good bit for me. Now I'm laying with ice on it and took 1600 mg of ibuprofen. It's hurting pretty good, but tolerable. Any idea of what I did, and any suggestions to get back in the game quickly? I tried to do a very very light set of cable crossovers and couldn't due to the pain... Like 10lbs killed me. So we altered the workout to focus on arms and took it all off my chest. My partner would massage the spot with high pressure (and lots of pain) throughout the workout. Now it's just sore and swollen. Hopefully you can see it in the pic.
