Default low dose T3 throughout cycle

    IGF-1 Sale!
I'm thinking of running a low dose of T3 throughout my cycle. I don't want to ramp up and down like I've done in the past. I would like to keep it at a low dose throughout my cycle. I've just started a 16 week cycle. Is it a good idea to run .25mcg of T3 for the whole 16 week cycle or is that too much time on T3?

so .25mcg taken first thing in the morning for 16 weeks will not do permanent damage?

No not at all! Also, since it is fairly low that will also help with protein synthesis!

I think you'll lose the intended benifits of T3 after just a few weeks if you do not adjust the dose upward. Reason being, your natural TSH levels will re-equilibrate to a lower level during that time and reduce your own natural T3 levels so that the net gain on total T3 levels will be zero after 2-3 weeks at the same low dose.
Low dose continuous supplementation is benificial if you are also running HGH due to the interaction between the two at the hypothalamic level, but not for a purely AAS cycle that does not contain HGH.
If your goal is cutting, you'll be happier if you ramp and taper. Either method poses no danger of long term T3 permanent damage.

thanks deca. so if I'm doing a 16 week cycle, how would you ramp? Do I work my way up to a max dose at week 8 and then work my way back down the rest of the way? Or do I do two short ramps at the beginning and end of the cycle?

This is how I would do it,gives you nine weeks of increasing T3 levels to cut and 5 weeks for your body to readjust while you taper.

From all that I've read ...............you should be able to get positive benefits long term with a dosage no higher than 25mcg per/day. This is not enough of a dosage to adversely effect your Thyroid Gland but is enough of a dosage to improve protein synthesis.

If you Ramp up and back down your goal should be to elevate your metabolism and burn BF.............which is a completely different use for T3 and requires one to Ramp up and back down in order to get the best results while minimizing adverse effects.

So.........If your goal is to increase LBM and improve protein synthesis...................I would recommend to stick with 12.5 - 25mcg and no more over the course of your cycle.

    JMO and .02 cents worth.

    Peace Out!

    Well, you know your shit.

I am with you on this one, bro.

In my current precontest, I planned to run a low dose of t3 throughout the cycle. I don't have much of a problem, ever, leaning down so I wasn't doing it strictly for that purpose. More of an 'insurance', so to speak. I also wanted the benefits of it helping to keep water off.

Admittedly, I did assume that the t3 would have a constant metabolic spike to it, though. It didn't. In fact, it is helping to keep the water off nicely at 40mcg. for the past few months. However, there is little in the way of a metabolic spike. Yes, I still get a bit warm for the first hour or so after taking it but it isn't doing much else. After about 3 weeks, it just didn't seem to have the same affect on my metabolism.

This is my first run of t3 at low dose for an extended time period. In the future, I will use it in a taper mode and go up quite a bit higher before coming down.

Let me add, simply as an FYI, that most guys cycle their t3 to stop around contest time. I recommend that you run it about 4 weeks after a show, if not longer. ESPECIALLY if you are one of those guys that grubs down after a show for a week or so and tends to put back quite a bit of weight in that time period. A massive influx of calories and stopping t3 dosing at the same time, is not a great idea.

    Just my opinion but........
