Off season eating

So when you all are your off season, do you still eat fairly clean or do you just take in as many cals as possible? I used to just eat any and everything in front of me but not anymore. I seem to get better growth if I try and keep it fairly clean..
 
Too funny Zeus, was just thinking about this when I was making my food. Yes I used to eat everything as long as I got enough protein in, I didn't care. I don't do that anymore, my offseason is clean just more calories, makes dieting easier for contest time as I don't have as far to come down. But I sometimes miss the old days, lol but not the food hangover:), get one cheat meal per week now.
 
I've done it both ways and if I don't eat mostly clean I just start getting fat. Now I do endulge more than if I were dieting, but I don't just eat anything and everything.
 
This past year was first time i did "lean" bulking and it made me feel so much better! I used to get up so heavy and bloated it was CRAZY!
 
If I have plans of competing then yes I'll eat clean, but if not, I don't really pay attention
