So I was on the internet looking for a source on a product im not going to name.So I get the company email & decide to get a inquiry on a product. So this company says their located in china, their bank account info & western union info says china. So just to be on the safe side I do a ip trace & find out the email came from & it says Redmond,WA.:(

you can never tell these days, its so easy to bounce your i.p address around, and same goes for emails, it all depends on the carrier and where their server is located, if i was in china, and doing business, i would also have my i.p show another country that had no jurisdiction over me, so who knows is my answer, but its not that weird at all

I'm worried its the fuzz,,I can take a lost on losing a few hundred bucks to a scammer but I don't have that type of my money to fight a case

Do yourself a favor and research for other people who have dealt with this company. Shoot me a PM with the name of this company if you like.

just out of curiosity, how do you get the ip address of an email? I never bothered trying nor had reason to, but i am curious how to do it
