It depends what you are looking to accomplish? Overall increase protien, how price sensative are you, how taste sensative are you ( does it have to taste like a dessert, that is how most morons on the internet determine whose protien is the best)?
Man, I use to just drink 1-2 gallons of milk almost daily! Thats no BS, on my life! and I attributed much of my growth in size and strength to drinking a shit ton of milk, whole milk too!
The lady at Wawa finally asked me one day about it, and when I told her, she laughed as if I was joking.
The only time I can drink a shit load of protein is when it comes premade, so in my 20’s I drank mostly the cardboard type container Myoplex, and it seems a lot of manufactures dont make or push the high protein drinks anymore, as I think mine were like 42grams , now days its all bullshit, so much so that I think they are all full of shit, so I just go to BJ’s and Buy 2 or 3 cases of Premier Protein premade shakes, and they 32grams
Mixing powder drinks yourself sucks ass!
edit: As to drinking that much milk, its only recommended if your juicing lol,
I haven't drank any milk in years. Just not my thing and to be honest I have been getting the most of my protein from eggs, chicken, egg whites, beef and that's about it. I do have some protein at the house but only use it when I have too. It bloats me so bad, I fart like an old stud horse.
I have tried almond milk and its not bad and like you said no bloat.
