In my experience TNE needs to be in an EO base with ba,bb, and guaiacol. If it were me that had 500cc of crashed TNE I would cool it off in the fridge or freezer to crystalize as much of the test base as possible. When this is done pour out the oil, you'll then need to weigh how much test you have. Then heat the crystalized test base slowly just until it melts (around 310 Fahrenheit if memory serves me) Add your BA, BB, guaiacol, then EO in that order - after each is added heat and swirl until you have a clear solution. Let cool to appropriate temperature for you filter (should be using a nylon filter membrane to cope with the solvents, zap cap CR .22um is what I use). Filter it, let it sit overnight in the media bottle to make sure it doesn't crash. If it does reheat and add guaiacol, if you have nylon membrane syringe filters and only need a small amount you can filter the guaiacol straight into the media bottle. Guaiacol will melt the rubber plunger in a syringe so if you need a large amount I would not use a syringe filter and go straight to adding it then re-filter the whole batch. Hope this helps and good luck, TNE can be a pain in the ass until you figure it out which can take some time and experimenting. In the future I recommend doing a small batch to test if the recipe works then go for the whole shooting match.
